We provide homeowners with quick and easy installation of tubular daylighting devices that will brighten up even the darkest indoor spots. TDDs capture light very efficiently through a clear, weatherproof dome on the roof. The light travels into the home through highly reflective tubing, ending at a diffuser in the ceiling that looks like a traditional in-ceiling light fixture. Popular installations include bathrooms, walk-in closets, laundry rooms and kitchens. We offer replacement of fading plastic bubble skylights with energy efficient glass models that are ENERGY STAR™ rated and can also repair existing skylights. The skylight replacement units we install have a double layer of Low-E2 coating that provides additional thermal performance, preventing heat gain in the summer months and heat loss during the wintertime, thereby reducing cooling and heating bills. These flat-glass skylights feature two panes of tempered safety glass dual-sealed with argon gas for increased thermal performance; they have aesthetic advantages plus tremendous endurance to withstand violent weather throughout the year. A solar battery powered shade is available for selected skylights.
